SUDDEN DEATH OF A SETTLER. By Tolcgraph-Vress Association. \pakatane, March 18. A settlor in the Onourino district, Vred, .fudge, aged about 40, was found in tin exhausted condition in the back sent of his ear about a mile, from his residence at 1 o'clock this morning, lie was taken home and put to bed, but expired shortly afterwards. Deceased attended tho races yesterday and a meeting of tho race stewards last night. He leaves a wii'o' and three children.
