(By Telegraph-Special Correspondent.) ,' Hawcra, March 17. Several South Tarauuki breeders • who visited Wanganui Show last week, and Waverley'A. and P. Show to-day. were unanimous in their opinion that in the cattle division AVavwley easily outclassed its run cattle were especially'good, and the.snruo. may be said 'of dairy breeds .'which came forward- The judge of dairy stock was very pleased with the entry and quality of 'the calves and heifers which came before him. The 'horses were a' fjood even lot, and some of the draught- were particularly good. Those entered by H. Middleton, of Waverley, would have had a. winning chance at any provincial show. 4'he classes for. hacks, harness horses, and ponies were all well filled, and the competitions were responsible ■ - for some very fine jumping being witnessed.' An'excellent, display was given in the open leaping, the valuable cup being won by 13. W. Harvey. The championship for hacks was won .by S. Syiuo's Osprey. .
