AN INCORRECT STATEMENT. New York, March 15. Business men expressed relief upon publication of the statement by the Department of Commerce that it had received a cable message from .the United States Commercial Attache in Melbourne stating that the report ( that Australia had declared an embargo on all manufactures save those of British origin was incorrect.—Aus.-N.Z.
