Thero was in consequence a' very large Attendance 7The horses were judged to-day, and some fifne-animals entered the show ring. £> three-year-old gelding exhibited by Mr. Hugh Middleton, Wnrerley, was considered : by Hio-judge,-Mr. A. In the classes mare four-year-old and upwards, mare with foal at foot, draught gelding, four years old and upwards, and pair of general utility farm horses: JI. Middleton won all the .principal awards. In ' the liack. and harness classes' a good ' tiuality of animal was more the rule 'than the exception, but none of tho local 'jlistnct horses could-tnke away the championship from Miss G. Mailer's (Hastings) Bachelor in the harness section, or tho I same exhibitor's Romeo in the hack ■' classes.
