EPIDEMIC REPORT. ~ A 'meeting of residents of Island Bay was held last evening in St. Hilda's Hall to receive the report and balance-sheet submitted by the Epidniiic Committee and nlso to witness the presentation of 11 ilag-pole to the Boy Scouts. Mr. C. C. Odlin presided. Colonel J. G. Hughes, who made the presentation to the Scouts, in a short address pointed out to the lads that the boy who went straight and abstained from taking liquor need never look for work—jobs were waiting for them. Collc.v, secretary to the Epidemic Committee, then read the report and balance-sheet, which were adopted.
