4 ELECTION OP OFFICERS; By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, March 13.The following motions were carried at to-days session of the Poultry Conference: "That the association _ urge . the Government, when appointing repatriation and other hoards dealing with returned soldiers, to give the Poultry Association an opportunity to nominate a member to such boards to look after the interest of the poultry industry." "That the executive again communicate with the Government respecting' increased grants to egglaying competitions." /i: The following officers wero elected for-' IMSPresident, Mr. A. S. Holmes (Auckland); vice-presidents, Messrs. E. J. Eoss (Christchurch), H. H. Armstrong (Carterton); secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. B. Merrett (Christchurch).; exeoutive, Messrs. E. Galliolian (Wellington), H. W. Childs (Christchurch), S. Dick' (Christchurch), H. M. Boddington (Masterton), and Andrew Love (Dunedin).
