FORECAST AND SUMMARY
AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY, Present indications are for stronn south- . erly winds and squally, changeable, and cooler weather, with heavy showers in many parts. Barometer rise everywhere soon.
Moderate to strong north-west to southwest winds havo prevailed, increasing in force to-day. The weather has been fair to cloudy in the East Coast districts, but unsettled generally elsewhere, and 'rain has fallen in the western and southern districts. Atmospheric pressure has decreased everywhere.
