EPISCOPAL VISIT BY SEAPLANE
By Telegraph—Press Association Auckland, March 11. t An episcopal visit by 66aplane was made to-day by Bishop Gearys who started from the flying school at Kohimarama at 7.33 a.m. and arrived at Kuaotiina at 8.37, a distance of C 5 miles. He intends to visit other coastal ports by the same means.' Hβ states that he is more than ever convinced of the value of the seaplane as an aid to visiting remote 'districts, especially where the •roads are bad. Continuing hi 9 seaplane tour of the north, Bishop CleaTy made the journey from Kuaotunu to Mercury Bay this afternoon in twenty minutes. The seaplane subsequently proceeded on to Taivua, making a rapid flight of nineteen minutes. At both centres all the residents turned out in force to greet tho visitor.
