Committees have been at work for weeks- past getting everything in readiness. .The vouchers for 'special prizes, comprising a. motorcar, valued at ,£350, sections of land, sheep, sewing machine, etc., were care? fully checked yesterday morning by the committee of Wellington citizens, amongst whom wpre Mr. Harold Beauchamp and Mr. W. A. Mowbray. The public aro invited to view all the prizes at M Shed, Jervois Quay.
