BOWLING
Some twelve years ago the late Mr. John Duthie presented a valuable cup for annual competition between the Wellington, Hutt and W'angauui Clubs, of which clubs he was an enthusiastic member. Teams representing theso clubs will meet-on the Wanganui green on I'iiiirsday to decide the winners for tlic ensuing year. The Wellington Club, the preseiji holders, will be represented by tlw following: Wylie, Salek, Johnson, Smith, Still, Tasker, Kinvig, Thompson, The-Hutt representatives are:—li.cyrick, Barlow, Simpson, Nicholson, E<idiq, Shearer, Hodgins, Macaskill. . _' On their way through these teams will play four teams from the Feilding , Club on .that green. ■ Tlio teams will leave by train this morning. ■■' The following will represent Wellington in a friendly match against Pelono on Saturday:—Away :■ Crayi WaddeH, Petersen.
