The lambs were killed at tho Kakariki Freezing Works:— Class 47—Five fat lambs, shorn, Down crosses, over 45lb..—First pen, 248, C. E. Vile; 6econd -pen, 247, C. E. Vile; third pen, 252, Smith Bros. Class 48.—Fivo fat I'.mbs, shorn, .longwool crosses, over 45lb.~First pen, 234', J. F. M'Kelvie. The only entry. Class 49. —Three fat lambs, shorn, Down crosses, 451b. or under—First pen, 259,- ,T. F. M'lCelvie; second pen, 257, James Wilson; third pen, 261, Smith Bros. Class 50.—Three fat lambs, shorn, longwool crosses,, 451b. or under.—First pen, 2G5, H. J. Cameron: second ppn, 2Ki, J. F. M'Kelvie; third pen, 264, J. F. M'Kelvie. Class 51. — Three fat lambs, Down crosses, lmder 421b.—First pen, 270, J. F. M'Kelvie; second pen, 269, W._ Reid and Son; third pen, 271, J. F. M'Kelvie. Class 52—Three fat lambs, shorn, longwou! or loitgwool crosses, uuder 421b — First pen, J. F. M'Kelvie; second pen, W. ]?eid and Son; third pen, J. F. M'Kelvie. The grader considered pen 270, Down crosses nnder 421b., to bo perfect specimens of what ivas required by tho freezing company for the export trade.
