BANKRUPTCY COURT
> A short sitting, of the Bankruptcy Court was held yesterday morning. His Honour the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) was on the Bench. . H. W. Bear, of Levin, for whom Mr. j C- W. Tanner appeared, applied for his ! discharge. g , t His Honour, after reading the ossigpaep 8 report, said: "This is rather a peculiar case. You are asking for the discharge ■of a man whose petition is to be filed next Tuesday. • • The Official Assignee: "My mistake, your Honour, it should read 1!>18." In answer to His Honour, the Official Assignee said that 110 creditors ( had proved, and he'had no questions to ask. The dischargo was granted. Charle3 Thomas Emeny, plasterer. Wellington, represented by Mr. V. B. Willis, was also granted his discharge. Several creditors had proved, but no creditors had appeared to oppose. There wero no assets in tho estate. The Court adjourned for three months.
