Conforenco Notes. The Countess of Liverpool has consented to open tho Poultry Conference on Wednesday next at 11 a.m., and a drcßß on 'Women Poultry-keepers. The UtiliJy Club haa its arrangements well in hand for tho field day to be held at Papanui on Wednesday next. All tho conference delegates will lie taken out by special car. 'l'lio club will also entertain them to a complimentary dinner in tho Ca'dona Tea ltooms on Thursday evenniß. Tho Canterbury bgg Circlo has decided to talio tho delegates for a motor excursion on Friday afternoon to Cashmere Ilills and several poultry nlants, wNle Mr Liggins, of Burwood will entertain delegates at a gardon party, A number of returned soldiers liavo arraneod to attend the conference sessions, and be present at the ilold day and garden party. ,• . All BCBslonß of the conference will bo open to the public, and it is expected that a very largo attendance will bo present at tho opening of the, conference and especially the evening sessions. The first evening Mr. H. M. Boddington, of Mastcrton, will give a lecture on the Com; mercial Unity of the. Poultry Industry, and on Thursday evening Mr. G. Finn will give a lecture on tbe "Commonwealth of Man."
