•MR, W.-DEMPSTER'S .MISSION. The office of the Dairy Division of the New Zealand Department of Agriculture selected to visit the: United-. States owl Canada for- the piu'po3o of acquiring' first-hand information' regarding the preparation of i milk, products, such as milk powder and sugar of milk; is Mr.. \V. Dempster, dairy instructor, of Hamilton. .Arrangements have been made Mr. Dempster to leave New Zealand in April. He'will begin his-investigations-at San I'rancisco, and then proceed to, various parts of the States, where'these manufactures are carried on. Whether it is possible for anyone to find out all that is to .be known of such enterprises remains to-be seen, but it is considered'certain that a great deal of interesting and valuable information is available. Mr. Dempster's mission is of considerable, importance to people who are thinking of investing in companies for the making of "dried milk or sugar, of milk. • Mr. Dempster is considered n highly suitable officer of the -Department- in undertake the work allotted to him.
