The members of tho Pioneer Battalion, \'ew Zealand Division, comprising Hμ Maori troops, left England on the transport Westmoreland on February 28. rhej are due to rtftCh this country about the second week in April. The consist of 50 officers, 3. nurses, and 9(8 Ol Thp'jlftorle are arranging a special welcome for the men who represented tht'h race oa-the battlefields of Europe. The Pioneer Battalion has a m?ta record of service in France and l< landers It was complimented in the highest' terms on several occasions by ofheers of high rank, who had occasion to notice its work.
