PROHIBITION RALLY

A meeting convened by the local Prohibition Party was held in St. Thomas's Hall, Newtown, last night, The hall was well filled. The chairman, Mr. Hinton, Wellington organiser of the party, in his remarks stated that in tho purging of the rolls no difference had been made between votes for the different issues, nor had any soldier's name been knowingly challenged.
