SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIPS. By Telesranh—PreES Association. Christchurch, March 5. The New Zealand schools swimming championships were continued to-night before a crowded attendance. The results are:— 100 yards schoolgirls' New Zealand championship, open to girls of 14 years and under—V. Walroad (Auckland), 1; V. Brodie (Wellington), 2; Agassi?, (Christchurch), 3. Won by a yard. Time, 81 3-ssec., which is Bsec. better than tho previous New Zealand record. 100 yards intermediate New Zealand championship, boys 17 years and under— C. E. Low (Christchurch), lj W. Sutherland' (Christchurch), 2; H. von Sturmer (Auckland), 3. Avon by>hiilt a yard in the record time of GG 4-ssec. 75 yards intermediate New Zealand championship, girls 17 years' and under— G. Shand (Christchurch), 1; K. Busted (Christchuroli), 2; V. Walroad (Auckland), 3. Won by a touch. Time, 58 l-ssec. GG 2-3 yards ladies' inter-club handicap -■-Miss E. Buckwartor (Wollington), lj Mies Agassiz (Christchurch), 2. 4-10 yards schoolboys' New Zealand championship, 14 "years and Batchelor (Christchurch), 1; L. Fairgray (Auckland), 2; C.
