The Druids' Conference was continued to-day and to-night, when a number of remits was dealt with and amendments to rules carried which will have an important bearing on the future welfare of the society. A civic reception wiw accorded the visitors this morning. T'et'liug reference was made to the death of ilie late grand treasurer, Bro. I'oberl 'Fletcher, M.l\ I'ast Grand President Jennings, ouo of the founders of Ihe order, was present during the afternoon session, anil was accorded a hearty welcome. Tho conference is exiiwte'd to conclude on Wednesday night. The death claims paid last year totalled £$!,-m Is. 9d., not ,£53,438 2s. 9d. as reported yesterday.
