PERSONNEL OF COMMISSION. London, ; March I. The Press Bureau states that the Coal Industry Commission, of which Mr. Justice Saukey is chairman, ha;, been appointed. It comprises twelve including:—Mr. Arthur Balfour (member of tho Industrial Advisory Committee to the Treasury during the war), Mr. Robert Smillie (president of the Miners' Federation), Mr. Sydney Webb (founder of the London School of Economics and Political Science), and Sir Leo Chiozza Money—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Reuter. MISCHIEVOUS AGITATION. London, March 1. Mr. W, Brace, M.P., protests ngainst tho originators of the extreme Labour proposals organising' mass meetings in South Wales as the starting point of their campaigns, and thus conveying a false impression of the character of the Welsh miners.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
