FRENCH PRESS ON THE NEW ARMISTICE. (Rec. March 3, 7.10 p.m.) Paris, March 2. The French Press declares that France's future depends on the new armistice conditions, The war cost France throe million men and three hundred milliard franca, but the victor? will be a ruined people unless they obtain that peace to which they are entitled. Tho "Matin" says: "In order to prevent Germany complaining that France, in exacting disarmament, has ulterior designs, France should bo willing to bind herself in such' a way' as to allay Germany's fears."—Aus.-N.Z.
