To the rendering of Tschaikovsky s "Berceuse," .Dolores /brought all the caressing sweetness that the. subject demanded; then gloriously struck the-note of passionate avowal in ''Tou'jours a Toi." Bizet's "Garantelle" made great demands, 'but they, were am'.'jily satisfied. The last of the artist's ■ lisle;! numbers were "In the Woods" and "Long Ago" (MacDowell). In response to various recalls'," Dolores sang Horn's charming "I've Been Roaming," Dvorak's "Songs My' Mother Taught Jft," Kjerulf's "On the Ling Ho," and the popular "AVithin a Mile." . ' Mr. John Prouse's fine baritone .voice was heard with high appreciation in 6iich numbers as "Don Juan's Serenade," '"Oh;'>''.'Could .You ; But For One Short '"Hour"' .(Tschaikovsky), and "Thou'rt 'Passing Thence" (Sullivan). The tender solemnity of farewell contained in the last-named song was poignantly iuter- ' preted by Mr. Prouse. , Mr. 1 Prouse was also obliged to respond to several rec:Sls. ' .

A "Barcarolle" and "Etincelles" (Moskowski) were Sir. Harold Smith's'pianoforte contributions to the programme. The pianist gave excellent interpretations of both pieces, and was enthusiastically applauded. A 'complete change of programme is announced for Friday evening, when the last recital will bo , given. '. LAST CONCERT ON FRIDAY. ' The last appearance of Mdlle. Dolores's Wellington season will he given to-morrow night, when she will again be assisted by Mr. John Prduse. baritone, and Mr. Harold Smith, pianist, an entirely new programme being announced. The Dolores recitals form a fine evening's musical treat apart from the important fact that they must prove an evening's education to all aspiring students, for Dolores is mistress of her art.' A delightfully varied programme has been arranged for to-morrow's last concert, including "Chandcs Croises" (Jerusalem Mirabilis), "Quand le Uoasignol joli" (De Coucy), "Robin m'aime (De Miiclmult), "Douce Dame joli" (Mar'et), "La Romanesca" (Anon), "Irish Folk Song" (Foote), and recit and arias from Mozart and Meyerbeer. Seats can be booked nil day to-day and to-morrow at the Bristol Piano Company, and day Bales are available at Ned Perry's until to-morrow evening. On Saturday Mdlle. Dolores will appear at Palmerston North, and thence makes a lour of the principal towns of the North Island to Auckland. '
