KING'S THEATRE. "by ltight of .Purchase," a Select masterpiece, is the special attraction this week at. the King's Theatre. Norma Talmadge plays the star part in a wonderfnly convincing manner. The whole production is on a gorgeous' scale, and the dresses are especially fine. Tho King's grand ...orchestra will play selections from "Bohemian Girl," "A Waltz Dream," ftiul several others. An added attraction is Hiss Eileen Driscoll, a popular singer, v.-ho will sin- "When You Come Home" and "W'vko Up." There will be a full orchestral matineo to-morrow. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. Gloria Sw&nson is featured in "Her Decision," tho star film showing this week at Everybody's Theatre. The story is full of dramatic situations, and tells of a girl's foil}- and a young: sister's sacrifice. . The climax is thrilling. Iho items supporting tho feature are all well chosen. EMPRESS THEATRE. Madge Kennedy has the leading part in the Goldwyn feature play "The Danger Game," which is now showing at the Empress Theatre. Tho story contains plenty of human interest, with a charming love story. A ■ good supporting programme is included. i "NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH." On Saturday evening at the Grand Opera House Messrs. J. C. Williamson will inaugurate a comedy season with Mr. U B. Figman, the American comedy star, and Miss Lolita Robertson, an American leading lady, together with their specially-selected company, in their original roles in "Nothing But the Truth," a three-act farcical comedy that is said to be one of the funniest things of its kind yet offered, and one that has had a great vogue in England and America. Of the production it has been said that "Nothing But the Truth" is faice-comedy of a particularly clean and wholesome type. ; It is described as the greatest of farces, hut it is nearer to comedy than to the average ally American farce. The ploy is said to be exceptionally well mounted, and acted in a brisk and breezy fashion by a company whicli has' l the admirable trait of appearing to take real 'pleasure in. their work. This ;is said to be particularly noticeable in the case of Mv. M. B. Figman as Robert Bennett. Mr. Figman, it. is stated, acts in an easy, finished style, and with an attractive sense of tlie breeziness of'youth. He is eloquent in gesture, incessant in movement, and has a quick appreciation of all the possibilities of humour which the piece presents. Many of those supporting the star are playing their original roles. Tho box plans for the first six nights open at the Bristol Piano Depot on Thursday morning. ■
