HIKURANGI MINES HELD UP
TRUCKERS REFUSE TO WORE. By Tclcd'apli—Press Association. Whangarei, February 24. . A partial stoppage nt the Hikurangi Coal Company's mines was reported today. It is understood that the truckel's are dissatisfied over the non-pay-ment of a war bonus allegedly due for iivo months. Failing redress througn the union the truckers refused to worK this morning, thereby throwing a number of miners idle. Reports <lo not estimnte the trouble as serious.
