The bowling event of the present week is the meeting of the champion pair ot | each club of the Wellington' Centre on the one green to contest for tne supieinacy of the c.entre. The pairs contest is always an interesting One, and there jShould be large attendances on the \ ictoria green on Wednesday afternoon, oud all day on Thursday, to witness the games.
