TARANAKI EASTER TOURNAMENT. The New Plymouth Golf Club will hold its fourteenth annual Easter tournament and Taranaki championship at the AVaiivakaiho Links on Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday, April 1!), 21, anil 22. During the period of the war the prizes were reduced in order that the tournament could be run without loss, but now that the war is over the committee haa decided to revert to pre-war conditions, and give the usual trophies. The programme will be the same as that of previous years, played us follows:—Saturday, 36-hole medal match, tho 16 best cards qualifying for the championship; Monday, the second round of the championship and an 18-hcle bogey match; in tho afternoon the third round of the chanipionhip, and an 18-hole medal match; on Tuesday morning, tho fourth round of tho championship, and an 18-hole pairs best-ball bogey njatch; and on Tuesday afternoon the championship final and an 18-hole match. Continuous putting will bo held, and prizes given for tho best cards put in each day. Ladies' matches aro on the programme for tho Monday and Tuesday. MIRAMAR CLUB. The finances of the Miramar Golf Club are in a particularly healthy condition, according' to the annual report just issued. The year has resulted in a profit of iCI 7s. Id., as against a loss of UilOß 10s. 10(1. the previous year. Tho expenditure decreased by .£312 os. 7d., and revenue increased by ,£l2o 17s. 4d. The surplus is to be transferred to a reserve fund for. repainting tho golfhouse. During the year the ••lub championship was won by Mr. G. Richmond, the junior by; Mr. A. A. Stichbury, the ladies'"championship by Miss E. Gambrill, the Doughty Oup by Messrs. L. C. Hales and A. Young, and the 'l'aylor Cup by Mr. S. Gambrill.
