THE KING'S THEATRE. The select society drama, "Tho Reason Why," at tho King's Theatre is drawing crowded houses. I*' l ® T ? ca . contribution by the Cadzow Musical Trio is - a feature of the programme, and these popular singers had to respond to encores. Accompaniments _of high quality were played by "the King's Grand Orchestra.
EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. The principal attraction at Everybody s Theatre this week is "The Crisis,' a film adaptation of Winston Churchill s famous novel, well acted and splendidly produced. In addition is shown a most laughable Clinplin comedy, "The Champion." " '~ EMPRESS THEATRE. There is a. : strong luinian interest in the powerful Triangle drama, "Tho Devil Dodger," now showing at the Empress Theatre. Fatty -Arbuckle, in "Patty's-Seaside. Lovers'." and two topical subjects complete the programme. ANTONIA DOLORES. Mdllo. Antonia Dolores has been aptly described by loading critics of the world as the singer of sweet songs and homely ballads, and her artistry is no less triumphant than in great and world-renowned classical.arias and gems of other kinds. Her recitals here on Saturday next and also on Monday. Wednesday, and Friday of next-week at the Grand' Opera House are creating widespread interest, as much among the people in the surrounding country n8 in (own, judging from tho numerous inquiries and! requests that have come to hi\nd.■. Her artistic programmes are of the'kind' that awake an irresistible ap.peat to all-sections of 'the community, and with • a charm all' her owii. Says the Sydney "Daily Telegraph""Aldlle.
