Mr. M Donald added that it .was not even certaw that there would bo an increase sanctioned in the price of flour. Tho opinion in the milling: trade 13 that there must be an increase. The oats market has- weakened, a little, sales ot Algonan having beeii:inad<s at is. 5d to ie. 9d. per bushel. For feed oats business at a higher, figure has passed between merchants and millers and for the North- Island. Prices for Italian ryegrass: andl -perennial rye-grass remain steady. . Cocksfoot is ' ; offering freely Some.good-lines have changed hands at prices ranging from,Bd. to Is. per lb Barley is 111 demand, up to 7s. 3d. per bushel being offered. S'onie small paddocks of potatoes:-have been dug. and the tubers have ; been found to be affected more-or less badly witfe'blight, in-, spite' of the fact that tho top 9 looked healthy-.
