THANKS!
Sir,—On the eve of the departure from your city of the Earotongan contingents 1 would like personally, on behalf of mv wife and self, to thank all who have done an.vthiiiK to make their stay in your midst pleasant. Especially would I like to thank Mrs. Pomare, the Salvation Army, the Y:M.C.A., and the Cam. bridge Terrace Congregational Church. These boys, when (.ho clarion call sounded in their-" island homes for men to so and fight for King and country, responded nobly and well. Their behaviour and work at the front has called forth the highest praise from their O.C. (Caiitain Bush), and the fact that fionio members have won tlie D.C.It, is further proof, if necessary, of their work. As they leave our shores may one and nil say "God bless- them"—<i safe and happy journey to their homes.—l am, PIC " ■ JOHN JARVIS. Auckland, February 10, 19111.
