The "Horning, Post's" Berlin correspondent states that Herr Eisner, since returning to Munich, lies replied to protests against his admissions that Germany was responsible for the war. He has issued a statement which siiys it \yas necessary to make such a declaration, to make the credulous English and other delegates take him to their hearts again.
Herr'Muller, Majority Socialist delegate, emphasised the good relations between the English and Germans at Berne, and 1 declared that the English Labour Party and the Gorman Social Democrats were the strongest democratic organisation in the world. -It would depend essentially/:, upon their work wher ther a "permanent peace would prevail in Europe.—Aus.-N.Z. Itwas difficult to see how Germany could pass through the present difficulties unless supplies cpuld be obtained. .
