The French, naval losses during the war. were four battleships, namely, the Bonnet, the SufEren, the Gaulojs, and the Danton, four armoured i cruisers,. one cruiser, four destroyers,' eight torpedo boats, fourteen submarines,. sixty-two armed trawlers, five auxiliary cruisers, and twelve smaller war craft, representing an aggregate of a hundred thousand tone. ■■'■■'■■ ••'■•
Britain lost 550,000 tons', Germany 350,000, Italy 76,000, Austria, 65,000 and the United States 17,500-Reuter.
