AMAZING MARRIAGE PROCLAMATION

BOLSHEVIST NATIONALISATION OF WOMEN . FAMILY LIFE DESTROYED _ (Rec. February 1 a ' m -) London, February IG. An astounding Bolshevist marriage proclamation has been in east Russia and carried out at Ekaterinburg. It commences: "In compliance with the decision of the Kionstadt Soviet, private possession of women is abolished, bpcial inequalities and legitimate marriages have passed. They have served as instruments by which all the most beautiful women have become the property of tno bourgeoise, and the proper continuation of the human race hi\3 been prevented. Accordingly, after March 1,-the right to possess women between the ages ot seventeen and thirty-two years, is abolished, and they- are proclaimed the pronerty of the whole nation. The decree Jloes-not affect women having five children. Former owners- may return possession of their wives. If husbands resist this decree they forfeit this right. Iho distribution and -management of women is transferred to the Anarchist Uun. Three days after the decree is.published all women are given to tho use ot the whole nation, and will be obliged to present themselves at the club. Any citizen noticing a woman not submitting herself must give the. Anarchist Club her name." The ninth clause of the decree,, which sets forth a particularly revolting provision, goes on to state that other male members of the community can obtain equal rights to the proletariat by paying .£lO monthly into the public fund. Children will be educated n't the cost of tho jhiblic. In the case of a birth of twins the mother will receive a prize of Those spreading disease will be severely punished.
