SEAMEN'S ACCOMMODATION
UNION COMPANY AGREES TO IMPROVEMENTS. By Telegranh-Press Association. Dunedin, February 17. As a result of a conference with the Seamen's Union the Union Company has agreed to provide improved accommodation for the seamen on about 17 additional vessels. The company also agreed to .incorporate a clause. in seamen's articles providing thai; seamen invalided o;i Bhore in New Zealand through illness or accident contracted in the service of the ehip shall be granted the benefits of Section 6 of the Shipping and Seamen's Act.
