Y.M.C.A. LADIES' AUXILIARY

Mrs. Waterliouse was farewelled at an afternoon tea at the Y.M.C.A. hall on Friday afternoon by the members of the ladies' auxiliary of tho Y.M.C.A. 'l'he guest of honour was received by Mrs. Dumbell, president of the auxiliary, supported by Mrs. Hott, Mrs. Fossette, and Mrs. Iversley. Tho president, in a happy little speech, spoke of the valuable assistance rendered by Mrs. Waterhouse in her fifteen years' service, and presented her,mil behalf of the ladies' auxiliary, with a eloisomo brass bowl, as a small token of their esteem. In addition to the president's remarks, Mrs. Ilott, Mrs. Fossette, and Mrs. Kerslcy also spoke in appreciation. of the strenuous work of their guest of the afternoon. The three ladies had been associated with Mrs. Waterliouse since the inception of the ladies' auxiliary In November, 1901. •*

The hall was beautifully decorated pale blue and hydrangeas. A programme of music was rendered. Among the performers were Miss. Ainslie, who gave a musical monologue; Madamo Mueller, who sang; and Miss Finlay, who gave musical items. Miss Mueller, at tho closo of the afternoon, sang "Goodbye."
