By Telegraph-Press Association. Dunedin, February 12, At the Burnside markets 105 fat cattle were penned. These mostly were of good quality. Ox prices were equal to late rates at the opening, but afterwards declined 20s. per head. Best bullocks, .£l9 to .£2l; extra, .£2l to .£26; medium to good, £17 ss. to .£lB 10s.; light, £14 10s. to £IG. Best cows, Heifers, -EH to £15 lOc.f medium to good, £12 10s. to £13 10s.; light, £9 to'£lo 10s. . Sheep.—lß27 sheep were penned, including a fair proportion of good quality. At the opening, prices were Is. 6d. above the last rates, and these were maintained for the best quality, but the demand for medium fell away and values declined. Best wethers, 405., 435.; extra to 465.; good, 365. Gd.. 385.; .medium, 315., 345.; 'light, 28s„ 305.; best ewes, 355., 385.; extra, 43s 9d.; good, 325., 355.; medium. 275., 30s. Lambs—367 were penned. Freezing buyers operated sparingly. Prices were a shade higher than last week. Best, 27s 28*. 6d.; extra. 325.; good, 245., 255. 6d.;' light, 18s, 28s. Pigs.—There was a medium yarding of fats and stores. Fats hardly maintained Into rates. The price of stores was unaltered.
