At the Orient Steam Navigation Company's meeting Sir Frederic Green announced that he and Sir Thomas Devitt were retiring, and some members of tho Gray, Dawes Company would join tho board of Anderson, Green, and Company, Ltd. Tho Orient Line is unable at present to resume tho fortnightly ser-' vice to Australia, but is establishing a monthly service to tide over the time till the lost ships may be replaced.—Aus.N.Z.
