The Queensland State Government has issued regulations prohibiting vessel which have not undergone proper quarantine from berthing at the city wharves. The Cestor, with 1100 troops on board, has arrived, but the Government has refused to supply a pilot, stating that it will give no facilities towards the landing of troops at Lytton. ■ The watersiders have refused to work ships which have not been declared clean by the State authorities.—Press Assn.
