SOLDIERS' PENSIONS
DELAY IN PAYMENT? ALLEGED. By Telegraph-Press Association. Auckland, February 12. The executive of the Auckland Patriotic Association decided to-day to draw the attention of the Government to the delay still arising regarding the payment of soldiers' pensions. It was reported to the meeting that the number of returned soldiers applying for assistance had exceeded the number for any previous period. Since the last meeting 653 applications had been received and .£3290 \had been dispersed by the association.
