The Masterton Eacing Ciub has been advised that the latest date selected' for its autumn meeting, viz., March 27, is not available. Another date is consequently being applied for. There arc at present fifteen inmates in the Solway Home and twenty in tho Buchanan Home.
The Wairarapa Hospital and Charitable Aid Board.has paid out .£lßlll Gs 3d. in connection with the epidemic accounts. None of the accounts paid have exceeded £iO. At a'meeting of the Claims Board of the Wairarapa Patriotic Association yesterday four .applications for loans were deferred for further consideration, and five returned soldiers were granted temporary assistance. Good entries have been Teceived for the Masterton A. and P. Association b show, to be heid next week.
