Tho. Management-' Committee of the Wellington Cricket Association met'last evening, Mr. C. G. Wilson presiding. A communication was' received from tho Wftriganui Association stating that iti lyould' iiot ■be possible for. that assooiation to >arrange ioT • a match with, a Wellington • representative team during the Easter holidays as suggested by tlje looal association. In view of this it was decided to write : to !the Wanganui association suggesting a match at Wanganui on February 28 an;). March 2. All' practice will csase . on the Basin Eeserve at 6.15 p.m. to-<lay in order to permit the Victoria College'to ruh off its evening sports programme. •■■■- In conclusion, .with the Plunket Shield match between Wellington and Canterbury, held at .Chriatchurch, it was disclosed in the statement of accounts that the Wellington Association's share /of the profits amounted to £40 7s. Bd. The total, "gate" for .the match amounted to .£lB4 14s. 9d. With reference to the match played at Wellington the- total "gate" for the match amounted to £109 2a. 6d., and the southern association's share of this amounted to .£l9 3s. 2d., whilst the local association receives ,£4l lfts. 3d.
