Adding other miscellaneous receipts, total receipts are obtained of 67,216,497 yon, Subtracting a 7 total expenditure which, was required of " 31,349,630 yen, profits of 35,866,867 yen were obtained. Compared with corresponding term of last year, total receipts show an increase of 36,422,801 yon, and profits of Z1.9-if.560 yen, while, compared with last term profits, shows an incrcaso of 13,674,619 yen. The Tainui is still lightering. Tho 'Wellington office of the C. and D. Line was yesterday informed that the Port Lincoln, from New York, berthed at Auckland at 1 p.m., with a clean bill of health. The Lincoln will leave there on Thursday for Wellington, is due on Saturday, and on completion of dischargo of her local cargo will oil ■Thursday, February 20, sail for Brisbario and Sydney to complete dischargo. Sho will then load at Australian ports for England. Tho P. and O. steamer B\irma left Sydney on Sunday for Auckland, and is due on Thursday evening. .Her discharging portß are;— Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton. On Friday, February 21, she is to sail for Auckland to finish, and will finally clear for London on the last day of this month. Tho Australind Shipping Company's steamer Ajana, which is reported to have left London for New Zealand ports, is one of, tho vessels allotted to load in the Dominion in March and April for England. It ib as yet • not known under whose / agency sho is coming. The lighthouse tender Hinemoa was yesterday at Kaipara, and is due at Onehunga on Thursday or Friday. It is expected that she will return to Wellington at the end of the' week. •■ Mr. A. M'Arthur has joined the Jfonowai as extra third officer. Mr. G.
