QUESTION OF CONTROL. By Telegraph—Press Association. ChristchlOTh, February 10. At tho Red Cross Conference held in Christchurch last week a resolution was passed that in the event of the Government taking action to securo control of the Red Crosß funds tho Red Cross organisation 'throughout the Dominion should be requested to take measures to resist to the uttermost tho control of the funds passing from it. Howevor, the Miu.ister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. G.AV. Russell, who is the supervising Minister feu- war funds, assured the Press representatives to-day that the Government has no intention of taking the conteol of the Red Cross funds.
