MOTOR PATROL MEN
* DATE OF THEIR RETURN. The following statement was issue from the office of the Naval Adviser ye; terday:— "In view of the number of inquirie which the Naval Adviser is receiving b to the probable date of return to th Dominion' of the New Zealanders wb enrolled in November. 1916, for servicj with the Motor-boat Patrol, it is not tied for the information of relatives an others concerned that no informatio has yet been received from the Admii alty on this point. As soon as it is it' will be handed to the Press. I should be borne in mind that these me form a very small portion of some thou sands of colonial ratings serving in th Imperial Navy, and also that the Ac miralty may be relied upon to releas them at the earliest .possible onportuii ity; further, that the men themselve will spare no effort in forwarding to th Admiralty, through their commandini their applications for early re turn to their homes."
