' It will, as usual, be limited to the eight strongest players available, viz., Messrs. Anderson (present champion), Purolms (ex-eliam-pion), Welton, Harper, A, Chirk,'. If. J. Thompson, Berry, and S.. Fanlknnr. The club is adding a .new feature this year. viz.. a minor tourney, for which nine entries have been received. The winuor of the minor contest- is to play Hie lowest scorer in the championship tourney, the committee, bavin? decided to rearrange the ladder from the rc.sulls of the two contests. The Ngaio Club. The Ngaio fHub's summer rceesH has ended, and wepkly meetings have been resumed. The prizes won in last vear's handicap tourney are' to. be presented next Monday as follow:—First prize, H.
