MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS

: AND THE POSITION OF ONSLOW. Onslow Borough will become part of the .City of "Wellington on April 1, and the election of the Mayor and council will take, place on the last Wednesday in that month. Anxiety has " been " manifested in some quarters as to whether residents of the borough will be enfrauchised in time to vote at that election. No fear need be entertained on that score, for the Onslow roll of municipal electors will automatically become part of the city roll pn April 1, entitling! all thereon to full privileges as electors. The only difference it will make to Onslow electors is that they will rote •for city members in the case of the Hartour Board, instead of for the suburban representatives on that body (at present Messrs.. J. H. M*Ewan'and M. W. Welch).
