H. Miles) by the-president of the guild-(Mr. James Ji'Lcllan) the conference- of the New.Ze'aiand Hardware; Associations held recently .in-Wellington, it-was- stated that the '.Munitions and. Supplies Department was in process of being disbanded, ijiid the. opportunity was taken to'niovo a hearty vote of thanks and appreciation to tho honorary board of advisers, Messrs. A. IT. Miles, Alexander Macintosh, and George Wilson.' Many eulogistio' remarks were made regarding tho good work of tha board in ' connection' with priority permits and supplies; arid the resolution was carried' unanimously. It' waa 1 'bought:that this resolution at ! the ter- '■ mination of your labours in connection with this Department would be ia' spares of gratification to you, and it' (jltfes ane great pleasure to forward it to you on behalf of this mild."
