Hydro-olMkical Engineer, who resigned his position to take an important post in Britain, will leave New Zealand bv the Monna on March 20, travelling via America.. It is understood that Mr. Parry's successor will 'be Mr. L. Birks, engineer-in-charjc of the Lake Coleridge system. Mr. Parry k at. present busily engaged in preparing a nm»3 of technical intormalion for the New Zealand Government, which will prove of material assistance in connection with the development of this country's hydro-electric power. Among other things, he is propaving a scheme of power distribution for the South Island.
The Mnelerton Show, which is to be held on February 18 ami, 11), promises to be one of the most successful in the history of the association. A sevenroomed dwelling and two sections with frontages to Data.'P,oad and |?plannde wore sold to Mr. A. B. Burch for ,£l42a, while section 31, with frontages to Rota Road Tuatorua l?oad,/nnd hsplanade, was sold to Mr. Hart'for £370.
