SINN FEINERS' ESCAPE
THE AUTHORITIES PUZZLED,
(Rec. February 6, 8.45 p.m.) London, February 5. The circumstances of the escape of De Valera apd other Sinn Feiuers are puzzling the authorities. The prison in which they were is situated in a lonely district, is surrounded by a wall twenty feet high, and 'the only entrance is closely guarded. The fact that the prisoners were wearing civilian clothes probably facilitated their escape.—Aus.N.Z. Cable' Aesn.
