The State Government lias advised the Federal authorities of the presence of pneumonic- influenza—Press Assn. Melbourne, February 5. There are 184 new influenza cases", and twelve deaths are reported. Cabinet has decided to close the racecourses in infected areas.—Press Assn. (Rec. February 5, 8.40 p.m.) Melbourne, February 5. There have been 142 fresh cases reported, and seven deaths.—Press Assn. Sydney, February 5. In order to assist the Government, all the hie shops have decided to dispense with the late shopping night on Friday. The Government has decided that in future any person arrested for not wearing a mask will be committed for trial. Another caso of influenza is reported from Newcastle.—Press Assn. (Eec.
