Tho goods wore duly dispatched to 'Aotea,' and will help to make- Christmas at 'Aotoa' tho usual bright and happy one. Again thanking your committee,—(Signed) D. A. Chay'tor, Lieutenant-Colonel, Commandant, Headquarters, N.'Z.E.1 , ., in Egypt." Mr. and Mrs. ,T. D. Dunlop, o£ Ceylon, arrived in Auckland by tho Sueyic, and have since been visiting Taranaki, whero Mrs. Dunlop'a mothw nn<l brothers (Messrs. 11. V. and A. C. Gower) reside. Tho' British and Foreign Sailors' Society held a fiouinl evening last night for sailors. Most of the boys'on the twining ship Ainokiirn 'were i-ircsont, and lieartily enjoyed th« ontqrtainment.
