MORE DISTRICT APPOINTMENTS

LOCAL COMMITTEES

Repatriation Board held a meeting yesterday, at which a number of appointments to the district organisations Tho board is still not in a position to sot up some of the local committees, because of the delay of eome of the bodies who have been asked to nominate representatives on the committees in sending forward their names. The following additional appointments have been made to the district boards:-' Otago: Mr. l< , . W. Mitchell, representing the Employers' Association, and Mr. J. A. M'lunnon, of the Second Division League. ' Wellington: Mr. T. S. Weston has been appointed to represent the Employers' Association, Mr. W. L. Thompson, tho gentleman appointed, having written to state that he, is ynable to act. -. Three secretaries to local committees have been appointed as follow, all tho ap : pointees being returned soldiers:— Palmerston-North—Mr. A. H. Palmer. Hamilton-Mr. 1 , . W. Mnddock. Oamaru—Mr. A. G.
